Hi, I am Robyn. I live in a magnificent country, South Africa. I am a qualified teacher and have my Honours degree in Inclusive Education. I have taught a variety of grades from preschool through to intermediate phase. I have been involved in education for over twenty years. A large portion of that time was in the classroom. I am currently not working in a school. This is to allow me the flexibility I need to be available for my family.

Being at home, hasn’t stopped me from being a part of the education world. While raising my two precious sons, I have had the opportunity to work alongside my friends and family in a variety of different adventures which include

Planning and facilitating moms and babies/toddler groups
Writing text books and teachers’ guides
Creating resources and programmes for an NPO
Mentoring young student teachers employed by the NPO
Working as a reader and a scribe for learners who have concessions.
Assisting with marketing and social media accounts for a family business

These journeys I’ve been on have inspired me and given me the confidence to start up my own business.
My goals are simple: To make good quality, user friendly resources that save educators time and help to engage students and assist in making learning exciting and fun.

IsiZulu Resources

While working at the NPO I was involved in, we discovered a desperate need for resources that are engaging and fun for young children, but resources that were also in their home language, IsiZulu. This is where my journey into IsiZulu resources began. Some days I have sat with 4 different IsiZulu-English dictionaries and Google Translate trying to work out the best words to use in my resources and still not getting it right. It has been a time-consuming expedition to create these resources but it is so rewarding when I receive the photos or videos of children engaged and learning.

This resource was beyond helpful in guiding discussion and reinforcing prior knowledge. Everything about these posters is engaging, informative, wonderful conversation starter and a great staring point for the theme. My kids loved using these playdough mats. I printed, laminated, then worked through them together. Was a lot of fun! Great compliment to an ocean unit.

I love this resource! Just like many of the other content, it is colorful and to the point. The pack has a lot of variety included which makes the task of lesson preparation so much easier. Presenting the lesson to my daughter was also fun, which then in turn gets the message across quicker. Thank you for being a valuable source of information that inspires children.
